How to Add NTS as an Admin to Your Squarespace Account

Who Should Follow These Steps

Follow this guide if you are the Site Owner or an existing Administrator in Squarespace and NTS has requested access to your site.

Adding support@networkthinking.com as an admin lets our engineers configure integrations, troubleshoot issues, and manage your site securely without sharing your personal login.

Sign In to Squarespace

Open a browser and go to https://www.squarespace.com/login.

Sign in using the Squarespace account that owns or administers the site you want NTS to work on.

If you have multiple Squarespace logins, make sure you are using the one that has admin-level access to the correct site.

Open the Correct Site

From the Squarespace Home screen, locate the site where you want NTS to have access.

Click the site thumbnail or site name to open that site’s dashboard.

If you manage multiple sites, double-check the site name and URL before continuing so you grant access to the right environment.

Go to Permissions or Team Management

In the left-hand navigation, click Settings for the site you opened.

Look for the section labeled Permissions, Team, or Site Roles (the exact label can vary slightly by Squarespace version).

Open that section to view the list of existing contributors, including Owners, Administrators, and other roles.

Invite NTS as an Administrator

Click Invite Contributor, Invite, or Add (depending on your interface) to start inviting a new user.

In the Email field, enter support@networkthinking.com.

For Role or Permissions, choose Administrator or the role that grants full site editing and configuration access.

If there are checkboxes for managing billing, domains, or advanced configuration, enable them if NTS has requested help with billing-related settings or domain management.

Add a short note such as “Granting NTS admin access for setup and support” so your internal team knows why the account was added.

Click Invite or Send to email the invitation to support@networkthinking.com.

Confirm NTS Has Access

After NTS accepts the invitation, return to Settings → Permissions (or Team) for your Squarespace site.

Verify that support@networkthinking.com appears in the contributor list with the Administrator role and any additional permissions you selected.

If the status still shows as Pending, the invitation has been sent but not yet accepted; NTS will complete that step on their side.

Change or Remove Access Later

You remain in full control of your Squarespace account and can adjust NTS access at any time.

To change access, go back to Settings → Permissions or Team, select support@networkthinking.com, and downgrade the role or edit the permissions as needed.

To fully remove access, choose the option to remove, delete, or revoke the contributor; this immediately stops NTS from signing in to your Squarespace site.

Security Best Practices

Never share your own Squarespace username or password directly with anyone, including NTS; always use the built-in Invite Contributor feature.

Limit admin access to trusted partners and remove access once a project or engagement is complete.

If you suspect any unauthorized changes, review the list of contributors and permissions, update your own password, and contact support@networkthinking.com for assistance.
